THREE GOLD MEDALS FOR THE THREE WINES PRESENTED AT THE 2021 CONCOURS MONDIAL DE BRUXELLES

More than 10,000 wines from 46 producing countries participated this year in the Brussels World Competition, held in Luxembourg from June 17 to 27.
Those in charge organized the nine days of tasting with impeccable professionalism and respecting sanitary regulations. Medals were awarded to wines from 40 different countries. France (672) is the country with the highest number of awards, followed by Spain (507), Italy (389) and Portugal (335).
Once again, the Concours imposes itself as a revealer of the latest trends and changes in the wine world and provides an instant portrait of the sector, updated every year at the same time. In 2021, with almost 2,000 Spanish wines presented, the Concours confirms its position as the greatest showcase of the diversity of Spanish viticulture, achieving, in addition to gold and silver, 18 Great Gold Medals, placing Spain just behind France and ahead of Italy for the quality of its wines.
Bodegas Vega de Yuso, S.L. was founded in 2002 by Rubén Iglesias. 20 hectares of vineyards characterised by their high phenolic expression and the production of wines with a marked personality and identity. ‘The vineyard’s age, altitude and soil typeare the keys to our viticulture’. Our wines are made of grapes from vines of over 50 years old with very low yield and exceptional quality.
