Our history goes back to the generation that currently runs the winery, which since 2002 has managed to consolidate its production, obtaining recognition and awards in all its brands. A project come true full of illusion, work and commitment. A family winery; simple and humble, with wines of a very marked and defined character, with their own personality. Five defined wine brands, to find in each one, that special moment of conversation and reflection. Our maxim is:

“Make wines for enjoyment, not for tasting”

With a traditionally agricultural family, in 1940 they planted the first vineyards, with which the first wines for their own consumption were made. Starting in 1985, they began to sell their grape production to famous wineries in the Ribera Del Duero. Until in 2002, Vega de Yuso Wineries and Vineyards was born.

Initially with a minimal production, it was in 2003 when the first Vegantigua 2003 came onto the market and in 2005 the first TresMatas Crianza 2003 came out. Both faithful from the beginning to the type of production so characteristic of the winery. Vegantigua 2003 obtains the Bronze Medal at the 2004 Baco Awards. and will also receive an award for the TresMatas Crianza 2003, 2nd Prize for Best Crianza at the 2006 Envero Awards.

A dream come true for Rubén Iglesias, Manager and Winemaker, who together with his family, the Medrano Martín Family, collects the family legacy and turns it into his personal project: Vega de Yuso Wineries and Vineyards.
