Our winery, Bodega Vega de Yuso, currently has 20 hectares of vineyards located on the best plots of Quintanilla de Onésimo, Olivares de Duero and Valbuena de Duero, with vines facing northwest and southeast.
All our vineyards grow the Tinto Fino or Tempranillo variety, combining different training systems such as goblet and espalier.
Three essential criteria – vineyard age, altitude and soil type – are the keys to our viticulture.
Our wines are made of grapes from vines of over 50 years old with very low yield and exceptional quality.
The vineyards located in the valleys of Quintanilla de Onésimo, Olivares de Duero and Valbuena de Duero have an altitude of about 900 metres, which gives the grapes a very different structural complexity compared to those harvested in the lowlands.
